365 Photos - Week 13

This week are all pictures from the weekend at my parents. So the "day" labels are a little lie, and should really just be picture # or something... But life is sometimes a little crazy so I'm making my own rules.

I took my camera out and captured spring in their yard. I'm loving all the flowers and color combinations. There are actually 8 photos this week, consider one of them a bonus ;)

I'm having a hard time keeping up, it's turning into taking pictures over the weekend for the week.... I'm hoping once we get our washer and dryer installed things will settle down. (fingers crossed)

And again... lol I know I originally said I was going to try to keep pics of the precious kitty to one a week, well I lied.    Here's a favorite spot waiting for us to come back upstairs when he's to lazy to hang with us downstairs.

The picture doesn't do this sunset justice, I guess that's what I get for using my cell phone camera, instead of my fancy new one. It just doesn't quite capture things quite the same way.


Once again I was too lazy to drag the good camera out, so a crappy picture of our visit to gordon biersch.

My parent's solution to protecting the remote in the kitchen... Apparently the remote is in grave danger in the kitchen and seran wrap is the ultimate protector!! lol.

My grandma is moving into assisted living and I got a few items she didn't need anymore and one of them was this old flour sifter... I'm facinated with it. (I also got the stool it's on, made by my uncle x number of years ago)

The last couple of weeks have been a little hard with the house coming down with the cold going around, even the cat has the sniffles. So insuring I take one picture every day seemed a bit silly, I've been a little lax with the exact "rules", but still been taking as many pictures as I can, some in the morning, sometimes when I get home and taking my favorites from the week.


My favorite night light ever. I've had it since college and I've never tired of it.  It has like 3 different modes and changes colors.  LOVE it.

Some weeks have been a bit of a challenge, not because I don't like taking pictures, but I'm working all day and during the week it's sometimes hard. The last couple of weeks have been that way.  I'm certainly learning each week a bit more, it's hard to believe it's only week 8 of 52 that I'm posting about.

Half Moon Bay

We've been planning this get away for almost 2 mo. now. Here's the view from the balcony of our hotel. It was raining on and off all weekend but it was still a wonderful escape.

Room decor. We really liked this simple glass jar filled with sand and shells. At some point I might try to do something similar at home. So simple, so so pretty.

Point Montera Light House. Luckily it was only a couple minute drive, since I probably would have been a bit disappointed if we'd driven for hours to get here, but kinda cute and fun since it was just right up the road.
