365 Photos - This is it!

A year ago after receiving a digital SLR (NIKON D60) I decided to challenge myself to a year of photos. I slipped a bit here and there and changed the "rules" as the year went on but made it through. All the photos were taken with either my D60 or the point and shoot I got a bit later in the year, the Canon PowerShot SD880 IS. I've learned a lot about my cameras and also learned I still have a long way to go. It's had to believe it's already 2010 and I've made no decisions on how I plan on challenging myself this year other than this WILL be the year I loose the weight and get back into shape.

Happy New Year everyone. Here's the final picture for the year and for this challenge. I hope to keep taking photos but only post when something "exciting" happens in our life or I capture a picture I want to share. This has been a great experience and I'm looking forward to what the future has to offer.

*spoiler alert* This may be the ornament design I decide to go with next year. We are planning a big trip to australia and after racing against the clock the end of this year I'm thinking of ways to simplify next christmas while still maintaining tradition. I've also already designed our cards for next year and am thinking about ordering and addressing them now so I just have to pop them in the mail next Dec. We are copping out next year and doing the the picture type of card. Again simplifying.

I've re-upped my effort to take an actual picture everyday. Still not always happening, but trying now that there are only a few weeks left.

I'm only a little behind on posting photos, but this time I have an excuse, my computer died on me and for the last two weeks I've been making due with hubby's and our little one. Now I'm fully back online, photos restored and new ones downloaded. Here we go.

Since it was just going to be a quiet thanksgiving I didn't want to do both a pumpkin pie and a cheesecake so I did a pumpkin cheesecake... it turned out awesome if I do say so myself.

Only a little behind now... although still kinda cheating these are all from this last weekend (and a friend technically took one :) ) This last weekend was a passport day for the santa cruz mountains wine growers association. We got together with good friends that we haven't seen in too long and went to Loma Prieta, Burrell School, Black Ridge Vinyards and Testarossa.
