Demo finally begins on our fireplace... I really want this done for my birthday this year... I did want new countertops, but since this hasn't gotten done I want this first.


Yeah yeah we are totally slow to get in the game. After most the blockbusters have closed near us and the rental rates have gone up we finally took the plunge.

I have a thing for mini license plates.   Ours has been interpreted as slave rabbit...   I'll let you decide if SLVRBT is really our little Slave Rabbit.    But this one I saw on the way to work was clear MYTMINI,  Minis are sure mighty.    

I recently got moved from my cube to my very own office!!   This is the first time I've ever had an office.    kinda cool 

New Washer & Dryer

Jen is having a hippie party at work and so she decided she wanted to make tie dye stuff and I offered to come hang out and help for the day.    It ended up being a lot of fun (even if normally tie dye is hardly my "style")   Tie Dye Saturday

New Washer and Dryer YAY

About a month ago the dryer just didn't sound right, less than 2 loads later it refused to work any longer. Seeing as how it's at least 13yrs old (and likely older) we figured there was no reason to try to repair it. So out it came and into the front yard it's took up residence as we redid the closet: new vinyl flooring, repainted and updated the baseboards. Today after much waiting and nervousness about whether they would really fit in the given space our worry was replaced by relief and joy. I love our new washer and dryer.

365 Photos - Week 13

This week are all pictures from the weekend at my parents. So the "day" labels are a little lie, and should really just be picture # or something... But life is sometimes a little crazy so I'm making my own rules.

I took my camera out and captured spring in their yard. I'm loving all the flowers and color combinations. There are actually 8 photos this week, consider one of them a bonus ;)

I'm having a hard time keeping up, it's turning into taking pictures over the weekend for the week.... I'm hoping once we get our washer and dryer installed things will settle down. (fingers crossed)

And again... lol I know I originally said I was going to try to keep pics of the precious kitty to one a week, well I lied.    Here's a favorite spot waiting for us to come back upstairs when he's to lazy to hang with us downstairs.

I love this picture, and I love gerbera daisies.    My favorite, any color!!  Usually I get the off whites, but I was in bold mood this week.
